These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website thekrom.co.za (“Website”) and the services provided by The Krom Cafe (“we”, “our”, or “us”), located in Thohoyandou, Limpopo, South Africa. By accessing our Website or using our services, you agree to these Terms.
When you place an order through our Website, you are making an offer to purchase the selected items. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order. An order is confirmed only when you receive an order confirmation via email.
All prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice. Prices at the time of order placement will apply to your order.
Payment is processed securely through PayFast, South Africa’s leading payment gateway. We accept credit cards, debit cards, instant EFT, and SnapScan. Payment must be made in full at the time of ordering. All transactions are processed in ZAR.
Online orders are for collection at The Krom Cafe unless otherwise specified. Please collect your order within the estimated timeframe provided. We are not responsible for orders not collected within a reasonable time.
Table reservations are subject to availability. We recommend booking in advance, especially for weekends and holidays. We reserve the right to release your table if you arrive more than 15 minutes after your reservation time without notice.
Event bookings require a non-refundable deposit to secure the date. The deposit amount will be communicated at the time of enquiry. Full payment is due 7 days before the event date. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the event will forfeit the full deposit.
Event packages include the services specified in the package description. Additional services or items will be charged separately. Final guest counts must be confirmed 48 hours before the event.
Co-working space access is subject to availability. Day passes are valid for the date of purchase only. Weekly and monthly memberships are non-transferable and non-refundable. Members must adhere to our code of conduct and maintain a respectful environment for all users.
Floral arrangements are made to order and may vary slightly from photographs due to seasonal flower availability. We will use flowers of equal or greater value if a specific variety is unavailable. Custom orders require at least 24 hours notice.
Spa appointments must be booked in advance. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment may incur a 50% cancellation fee. Late arrivals may result in a shortened treatment time. Please inform us of any allergies or medical conditions before your treatment.
If you receive incorrect or damaged items, please contact us within 30 minutes of collection. We will replace the items or issue a refund at our discretion. Refunds for online payments will be processed through PayFast within 5-10 business days.
Refund requests must be made in writing to info@thekrom.co.za. Each refund request will be assessed on a case-by-case basis in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2008.
All content on this Website, including text, images, logos, and design, is the property of The Krom Cafe or its licensors and is protected by South African copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our prior written consent.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Krom Cafe shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our Website or services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the relevant service.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Limpopo, South Africa.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our Website after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
